D-Composed

is a Chicago-based chamber music experience that honors Black creativity and culture through the music of Black composers.

Since 2017, we have created intimate, out-of-the-box experiences that celebrate a mix of genres and sounds of Black music throughout history. We take music out of the concert halls and share it in spaces like art galleries and cafes.

We're architects of creativity and merge various artistic mediums to properly honor the legacy and brilliance of Black composers.

Music By Black Composers

Our Music of Black Composers series seeks to educate audiences in a non-traditional intimate concert setting. The setlist covers a range of compositions from the classical era to modern as well as selections from the pop-cultural canon.

D-Composed Gives

Our non-profit organization D-Composed Gives 501(c)(3)  provides free and accessible chamber music experiences to underserved communities, schools & educational institutions, and the Chicago community at large. 

Organizations that we partner with include institutions that serve the youth, at-risk individuals, homeless shelters, senior centers, and many more.

D-Composed, LLC

D-Composed, LLC creates highly conceptual chamber music experiences that redefine the classical music genre. Each event features purpose-driven collaborators and brand partners. When working with our team, events are fully customized and bespoke creating an all-encompassing experience. 

D-Composed, LLC also provides services such as recordings, customized performances, & live music accompaniment.
